Grapevine communication
Object communication
Intra-Personal communication
Inter-Personal communication
Oral communication
It take place in face to face conversation, group discussion etc .Spoken wods are used to direct ,instruct , and share experiences.
Written communication
Putting in writing includes letters, reports, notes etc. The written words are used to transmit one’s expectations, likes and dislikes.
Vertical communication
Vertical communication is the one that flows both up and down the organization ,usually along with formal reporting lines.
It consist of two types namely upward communication & down ward communication
Upward communication
It consist of message from subordinates to superiors. The message may be in the form of request, responses, suggestion, complaints etc
Downward communication
It occurs when information flows down the hierarchy from superiors to subordinates. The message may be in the form of direction, assignment, performance, feedback etc
Horizontal Communication
The communication occurs among colleagues and peers of the same level in an organization
Grapevine communication
In evey organization, there is an informal channel of communication called the grapevine. It is quite natural for a group of people working together to be interested in one another and talk about appointment, promotions, retirement or even domestic affairs.
The grapevine is basically a channel of horizontal communication because workers of the same status can informally communicate with one another with perfect case.
Object communication
The most common form of object communication is clothing .Clothes determine one’s personality traits .A good example of clothing as object communication is the uniform .Also the body adornments such as wedding rings, bindis as marital status, tattoos and brands ,also anything used a status symbol comes under the category of object communication

For example ,interaction between teacher and student in the classroom,a telephone conversation, interview etc .The emphasis is on speech ,non-verbal forms of communication.
2 What is blended learning and describe various dimensions of the blended learning?
Learning requirement and preference of each learner tend to be different .Dealing with individuality is the greatest challenge before each and every teacher in this sophisticated technology driven era . The original use of the phrase ‘blended learning’ was often associated with simple linking traditional class room training to e-activities
Blended learning or technology mediated instruction or web enhanced instruction is a formal education programme in which a student learns at least in part through delivery of content and instruction via digital and online media with some elements of student control over time pain or pace .Blended learning an also be applied to the integration of e-learning with the learning management system using computers in a physical class room along with face to face instruction
Good instruction provide individual learning experience with in the learning environment by using a mixture of media ,strategies and methods. These learning experiences promote instructions that allow the learners to recall information ,so that it may be remembered and combine it with other experiences so that new knowledge basis may be formed.
The blended learning was coined in 2000 by PAUL MYES .Blended learning refers to the mixing of different learning environments. As an approach ,it combines face to face instruction with computer mediated instruction .Here the learners and teachers work together improve the quality of teaching and learning
DIMENSIONS OF THE BLENDED LEARNING
1,Blending offline and online learning .
At the simplest level in the blending of offline forms of learning ,where the online learning usually means ,’over the internet’ and offline learning happens in a more traditional class room setting.
2, Blending self-paced and live collaborative learning
The blending of self paced and collaborative learning may include review of important literature on a new product by the learner followed by a moderated ,live, online ,peer to peer discussion of the materials.
3, Blending structured or formal learning programme with organized content in specific sequence like chapters in text book .In fact, most learning in the work place occurs is an unstructured from via meeting hallway conversation, or e-mail .A blended programs design may look to active blending two structures.
3 WRITE A BRIEF NOTE ON E-LEARNING ?
E-learning is electronic learning ,and typically this means using a computer to deliver part ,or all of a course .E-learning enable the learners to learn anytime and anywhere .It enables the development of perfect learning content through the application of sound instructional design principles to perfectly analyze the basic requirements of learning as well as learning objectives. Fundamentally ,there are two categories of learning
* Synchronous
* Asynchronous
Synchronous e-learning is real learning .In synchronous learning, the learners and the teacher are online and interact at the same time form different location
Asynchronous –student directed ,self –paced learning
Asynchronous e-learning is pause and resume kind of learning .In this type of e-learning the learner and the teacher can not be online at same time .Asynchronous e-learning may use technologies such as e-mail ,blog, discussion forums ,e-book, CD,DVD etc. Learners may learn at any time
ADVANTAGES
Flexibility
As e-learning can be done on laptop ,tablets , and phone
E-learning can be done wherever you have a device capable of doing so
Lower cost
Tailored to you , e-learning courses aren’t confined to be fixed to try and suit the needs of the majority
Technological possibilities
Distance is no longer a barrier
Online distance education is possible
DISADVANTAGOUS
Lack of expression
Lack of time punctuality
Technology over dependent
4 Explain Computer assisted instruction ?
A self learning technique ,usually offline/online ,involving interaction of the student with programmed instructional materials. Computer assisted instruction (CAI) interactive instructional technique whereby a computer is used to present the instructional material and monitor the learning that takes place.
CAI uses a combination of the text, graphics ,sound and video in enhancing the learning process. The computer has many purposes in the classroom ,and it can be utilized to help a student in all areas of the classroom
5 Explain hacking?
Hacking refers to activities that seek to compromise digital devices ,such as computer, smart phones, tablets and even entire networks. It is also identifying weakness in computer systems or networks to exploit its weaknesses to gain access. Hacking means using computers to commit fraudulent acts such as fraud, privacy investing ,stealing corporate/ personal data etc
Example of hacking : using password cracking algorithm to gain access to a system
